Weingut Weinreich lies in the Wonnegau district of the Rheinhessen wine region. The name 'Weinreich' translates to "rich with wine" and is special to the Wonnegau district. Anyone that comes from this region has a pretty clear path in life: dedicate their life to wine. This is exactly what the young winemakers of Weingut Weinreich have done. But even with the younger generation at the helm, the wine is still made with the traditional methods from their grandfather's time. Utilizing only environmentally sustainable practices in the vineyards, manual harvests, and minimal interventionist winemaking. This allows them to produce natural wines that express the individual character of the Bechtheim vineyards. The wines tell a story about the winemaker and have a unique sense of place — that can only come when the natural conditions of the soil and vineyard are respected.
