Baumberger
In 1855 Johann Baumberger came to Mandel to start a family there. Since then the former farm has changed into a pure winery. Meanwhile Pauline and Carl are the sixth generations to enter the family business. Three generations of Baumberger live and work together at the vineyard: Arnold, Marcus and Carl combine experience, fresh ideas and know-how. And with 4 strong women at their side, there is nothing these men can’t do. Elfriede, Birgit, Pauline and Liesbeth bring their own flair to the winemaking process. The smaller brother Carl moved directly to Geisenheim, where he studied Oenology, and now he has his very own wines - and all this at the tender age of 20! We can’t wait to see what else comes out of this dynamic winery in the coming years.
