There is so much hidden behind the wonderful name WEINCROWD! The brainchild of a winemaker and a wine blogger, this vineyard is truly to future of modern winemaking. Reinhard Seidel, the winemaker, took over his family winery and is now enthusiastically leading the vineyard into the future with Benjamin Schmitt, a wine blogger and grape juice hooligan, is at his side. This dynamic team has a unique never-before-done approach of integrating social media into winemaking by involving their Instagram followers in every step of the process. They consult their followers to choose everything from the label designs, grape varieties, and bottle types, all the way to helping to pick a name for the tractors.
